The Administrative Division of the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office is led by Chief Criminal Deputy Jared Morton.
The Criminal Division Administration, under Chief Jared Morton, manages the day-to-day business needs related to the Criminal Division. These duties include supervision of all personnel assigned to both the Criminal Division and the Correctional Division and the Administrative Support Staff. Chief Deputy Morton is also the Public Information Officer for the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The Civil Division Administration manages the day-to-day activities related to Civil Process Service, Property and Sales Tax Collection, as well as overseeing Sheriff’s Sales and the collection of various fines and fees.
The Administrative Division assists the Sheriff by recommending agency policies and ensuring that all component parts of the Sheriff’s Office coordinate their activities in order to promote a greater efficiency in accomplishing the objectives of the Sheriff’s Office.
In addition to operational responsibilities, they have daily contact with members of the public in the office and by phone.
